The house
A light and airy apartment just 100 metres from the beautiful sandy beach of Landrezac with views of the sea from the balcony and bedrooms.
The amazing beach is accessed via a private grass path accessible only to our neighbours. We LOVE the beach, hiring sailboats nearby, the cycling trails, walking in the marshes, all those creperies, and just chilling.
The apartment is at the rear of a family house that can be rented separately if available. We provide bed linen and towels for our guests.

The apartment is approximately 100m from one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in South Brittany, via a private pathway that only serves the three properties on the lane. Once on the beach you have easy access to many services and great walks along the coast including small vending bars/cafes and watersport hire facilities. Cycling nearby is another great way to explore with lots of small roads and specific cycling routes and paths. These will take you all around the beautiful Presqu'ile de rhuys area and there are several cycle hire centres around the area. Your car is a must as public transport is limited, however, you will find many fabulous markets, shops, small villages and towns all within reasonable travellling distance. Vannes is approximately half an hour away and Nantes and Rennes are just over an hours drive from Landrezac.

Ce fut un plaisir de vous accueillir, vous et votre famille, à Landrezac, mais je regrette que cela ait coïncidé avec la pire tempête que la Bretagne ait connue depuis 30 ans! Nous apprécions vos commentaires et serions ravis de vous accueillir à nouveau avec un temps plus clément.
Restaurants, food & wine
There are several restaurants and creperies nearby with many more within 20 to 30 minutes drive. The creperies offer an exciting chance to sample the great breton tradition of galettes and crepes, great value food for all the family. The galettes are a savoury pancake made using buckwheat flour and a wide variety of fillings, often accompanied by a "bolée of cidre", this is followed by the sweet pancake version dressed or filled with fruits and sweet sauces topped with caramel or ice cream. There is also a selection of restaurants in Sarzeau for all tastes and budgets. The market at Sarzeau is great for seasonal fruit and vegetables and regional specialities. During the summer there are also markets at many towns along the coast - St Gildas, Port Navalo etc. A supermarket 'Super U' can be found at Sarzeau, as well as many smaller independant food shops. There are also numerous outlets selling freshly caught shellfish along the coast (oysters, mussles etc) Further details are in the apartment.
Activities
Landrézac is a small coastal village, with a wonderful beach. Swimming and kite-surfing are really popular here as well as walks in the sea and on the shore. The beach slopes quite gently so it is great for young children (properly supervised of course). A short walk away is Penvins, the next village, with a few bars and restaurants. A beautiful ancient chapel on the headland is easy to walk to and makes for some very good photos! On the marshes you will have opportunities for bird watching. Close by is the Chateau de Suscinio, open all year round. There is a delightful market in Sarzeau on Saturday mornings.

Further remarks
The apartment can be rented, depending on availability, with the larger house, and small one bedroom apartment on the same site for larger family groups who appreciate their individual space. The properties are entirely independant with a shared laundry facility.
