The house
On the ground floor of La Fermiere, off the entrance hall, there is to the left a large well equipped kitchen and to the right a sitting room with ample seating. Up the original staircase, on the first floor there is a large double bedroom with en-suite shower room and opposite there is a large dorm room with 4 single beds and a bathroom just next door. On the 2nd floor there is another double en-suite bedroom and two further en-suite bedrooms that can be set up with either 2 single beds or a large double.

The house is set in a quiet hamlet surrounded by farming land yet with the local town of Languidic only 5 km away where all amenities are available. Thanks to the dual carriage way (N24) access in Languidic the house is ideally located to explore the beautiful region and many attractions of the Morbihan.

Restaurants, food & wine
The town of Languidic has a Pizzeria, take away pizzeria, a creperie, typical French restaurant and a selection of bars, some of which also serve food. Slightly further afield, the towns of Hennebont and Baud both have a reasonable selection of restaurants to cater for all tastes and budgets. There are recommendations from ourselves and previous guests in the gites and we are always happy to help with reservations if required.
Activities
The surrounding countryside is ideal for bicycles and walkers alike with a number of official routes nearby (maps available in the house) as well as the cycle path beside the Blavet river that stretches from Hennebont to Pontivy. Local bike hire can be organised if required.
There are tennis courts available in Languidic (approximately 5km from the house) and there are a number of golf courses within a 40 minutes drive.
With easy access to the coast there are many water sports on offer or maybe even a day trip to one of the many Morbihan islands.
Depending on how adventurous you are feeling Brittany has a number of local attractions, both natural and more man made as well as some of the amazing daily markets. Within 10 minutes there is a Wakeparc and medieval village, and as we live next door, we are happy to advise on things to do suitable for your group/family.
Further remarks
The grounds and swimming pool are shared by a 2nd gite 'Le Pressoir' while each benefits from its own private terrace. The two gites can be rented together and connected to form one large gite to accommodate larger groups of up to 18.
