The house
In the Livradois-Forez regional park (Auvergne) near the "abandoned village" Issandolanges, you will find Gîte les Tilleuls. The gîte was completely refurbished in 2022 and fully equipped for 5 people. The gîte is located at 780m altitude and has a beautiful view over the woods. Nearby you can enjoy hiking and cycling. In the valley flows the river La Dolore.
The gîte is modern Scandinavian furnished and includes:
- First spacious comfortable bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and a single bed (90 x 200 cm) and bathroom en-suite with shower and washbasin
- Second bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200 cm) with bathroom en-suite with shower and washbasin
- A separate toilet on the 1st floor
- A fully equipped kitchen with induction hob, fridge, oven, freezer, microwave and dishwasher
- A sitting area with a (sofa bed) and an armchair (sofa bed for 2 persons 140 x 200 cm)
- A wood-burning stove (wood is provided)
- A TV
- WiFi (and good 4G coverage)
- Free parking
In addition, you can use the garden shared with us with a garden table, chairs and BBQ. A baby cot is available on request. Bed linen, towels, flannels and hand/tea towels are included in the price. A washing machine is available in the gîte.
You have the entire gîte at your disposal.
Things to bear in mind:
We live next to the gîte ourselves and have two dogs (border collies). They are extremely friendly and run free in the garden. Bringing pets please consult us.

- Damage to our property must be reported to us at all times

The gîte is in a quiet area in a small hamlet with 5 houses. The first farms are about 1 km away. The gîte is close to the D300, but this is a very quiet road so you are hardly bothered by passing cars.
