The house
A charming gite with character just outside the village. The gite has been completely renovated, and here you can enjoy peace and quiet. A large green and generous garden where you can walk and rest.
The spacious dining kitchen is in the old cave, where you eat and cook under the vaults. From the kitchen you can go to the spacious terrace or to the living room which is equipped with a wood-burning stove, sofa / sofa bed, two comfortable chairs and TV with Netflix and Canal Digital
On the spacious terrace you can relax in the hammock or enjoy a snack, a drink and the view. There is also a barbecue at your disposal.
The room
Renovated for comfort but respecting the historical building style, whose elements have reappeared here and there. The cottage of about 90m2 has a large living room with two bedrooms (4 beds including 1 double) and a sofa bed in the living room with an adjoining open dining kitchen.
Games and books are available in the bookcase.
Kitchen is well equipped and several appliances are available (toaster, coffee machine, juicer, kettle, microwave, panini maker, dishwasher and washing machine).
The bathroom is spacious and equipped with a toilet, shower with several settings, medicine cabinet, hairdryer and heating.
Furthermore, you will find 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, spacious wardrobe and a chest of drawers and one with two single beds with the possibility of hanging and putting away clothes.
In short, a wonderful place to spend a nice, quiet holiday.
You have access to the entire accommodation with private entrance and exit through the gate on the outside.

The Loire has so much to discover. A region rich in castles, vineyards and guinguettes. Come and explore its paths on foot, by bike or car, discover gastronomy, caves and museums ... The people are always happy to welcome you.
The towns of Thiers and Montbrison are 35 minutes away and the big cities of Saint Etienne and Clermont Ferrand are each just under an hour's drive. Lyon is just over an hour away via motorway.
Three quarters of an hour's walk away, you can visit a beautiful old castle that is being restored by locals in the village. Quite a job and each year a small piece is added every year. Rather not walk? Chateau de Cornes d'Urfé is also good to visit by car or bike

Enjoy hiking or cycling or visit one of the many Caves and wine tasting. There are plenty in the region and all are willing to let you taste their delicious wines. There are also nice little restaurants locally, some of which are closed out of season (in winter).
Activities
The nearest shops are 5km (Saint-Just-en-Chevalet) or 10km (Noiretable) away, both equipped with supermarket, bakeries, post office, banks, pharmacies, etc...
In summer, the nearest swimming pool is in Saint-Just or the Plan D'eau it near Noirétable with a sandy beach. If you drive a little further you can go to Lac d 'Aubusson about 40 minutes away.
In winter, the beautiful cross-country skiing resort of the Col de la Loge is 30 minutes' drive away and for skiing you can go to Chalmazel, 45 minutes' drive away.
The Gite is easily accessible via the A89 exit Les Salles/Noiretable 10 minutes away.
