The house
Gîte on one level located in a hamlet in medium mountain, on 15 ' from the summer / winter station of 7 Laux, 30' from Grenoble 20 ' from Chambery and Savoie

A room with 2 beds 80x200 which can be joined together to make a double bed of 160x200,

The holiday cottage with 3 epis has a living space of 90 m2. It is set In the centre of a quiet hamlet, 900 meters above sea level, in a village house, facing the mountain. Three bedrooms (sleeps 6 people), adapted for wheelchair users.
From walking to hiking, cycling or skiing, you will find sportive activities or just a relaxing holiday.
Less than a quarter of an hour from the Sept-Laux station, 1/2 hour from Grenoble, 3/4 hours from Chambery in Savoie and 1 1/2 hours from Geneva
Fresh produce on neighbouring farms, Laval grocery store, or the commercial area of Crolles within 10 km. Several times a week there are farmers markets in the valley.

The 7laux Les Sept Laux is a group of three winter sports resorts in the Alps, located in the Belledonne (Isère) range, about 35 km from Grenoble and 50 km from Chambéry, 12 km from the Gîte de Belledonne. The Sept Laux has two stations on the Isère valley side (Prapoutel and Pipay) and one (Le Pleynet) on the other side of the massif. The grouping of the three stations offers a difference of 1,050 m between 1,350 m and 2,400 m, for a ski area of 120 km on 38 tracks. But also a snowpark set up by Ho5 Park on the resort of Pleynet, a boardercross. Besides skiing, 15 km of cross-country ski runs are maintained at Prapoutel and 8 km at Pleynet2, access to the cross-country skiing area of Barioz nearby is by road. In summer the resort offers a "mountain bike downhill / freeride", with 6 tracks dedicated to cycling served from June to September by the ski lifts. Two chairlifts are open on summer weekends to pedestrians, for sporting and / or panoramic leisure hikes. The estate also serves as summer pasture for sheep at the Dôme des Oudis and cattle between Pipay, Plagne, Merdaret and Le Pleynet, as well as hunting field in autumn.
Restaurants, food & wine
At the farms in the area there are cheeses, dairy products, eggs, honey which you can buy directly from the producers.
In the forest on 2 kms of the gite there is a restaurant. But there are more restaurants in Grenoble and in the region.
The vineyards of the Savoie wines are on 30 minutes drive from your gite.
Activities
Next to the gite you can go fishing (you will need a permit), but from the gite there are numerous walks and hikes to make.
The skiing station of 7 Laux is on 15 minutes from your holiday home. But also in summer there are numerous activities possible.
For the brave there is a place where you can go piragliding in Saint Hillaire du Touvet on 20 kms.
The route of the Balcons de Belledonne is famous for cyclists.

Further remarks
At your arrival at the Gite de Belledonne, the beds are made, towels are provided and the children can play in the garden or play with the toys from the toy box.
You will find everything you need to prepare a nice meal, a raclette, a cheese fondue or a barbecue.
And to finish the day after skiing or after a long walk, you can have a nice glass at the fire side or whilst watching a film on the screen.

Beyond an 8 kw/h package per day, an extra fee will be charged based on real consumption at the end of the stay.
In winter, this consumption can be up to 10 € / day depending on weather and occupation.
