In the heart of a quiet hamlet, at an altitude of 900 metres, in a village house, a 3 épis (ears of corn) rural gîte of 195 m² on two floors facing the mountains. 5 bedrooms (sleeping capacity 9 people), two large living rooms, terrace, balcony, garden...
From walks to long hikes, on foot, by bike or on skis, you'll find relaxation and sport to suit you.
Less than 1/4 hour from the Sept-Laux ski resort, 1/2 hour from Grenoble, 3/4 hour from Chambery in Savoie and 1? hours from Geneva.
Fresh produce from neighbouring farms, the grocery shop in Laval and the shopping centre in Crôlles, less than 10 kilometres away, and markets several times a week in the valley.
Plenty to eat in bucolic surroundings.

Les 7laux Les Sept Laux is a group of three Alpine winter sports resorts in the Belledonne mountain range (Isère), around 35 km from Grenoble and 50 km from Chambéry, 12 km from the Gîte de Belledonne. Les Sept Laux comprises two resorts on the Isère valley side (Prapoutel and Pipay) and one (Le Pleynet) on the other side of the massif. The grouping of the three resorts offers a vertical drop of 1,050 m between 1,350 m and 2,400 m, for a skiable area of 120 km on 38 runs. There's also a snowpark built by Ho5 Park at Le Pleynet and a boardercross. In addition to downhill skiing, there are 15 km of cross-country ski runs at Prapoutel and 8 km at Le Pleynet2, with road access to the nearby Barioz cross-country ski area. In summer, the resort offers a "downhill mountain bike/freeride" product, with 6 dedicated bike trails served from June to September by the ski lifts. Two chairlifts are open on summer weekends for pedestrians, for sporting and/or panoramic leisure walks. The area is also used as a summer pasture for sheep at the Dôme des Oudis and for cattle between Pipay, Les Plagnes, Le Merdaret and Le Pleynet, as well as a hunting area in autumn.

The Savoy vineyards are 1/2 hour from the gîte.
Activities
The stream next to the gîte is ideal for fishing (permit required), and there are many walks and hikes from the gîte.
The 7Laux ski resort is 1/4 hour from the gîte, with summer activities (mountain biking, hiking, swimming pool, etc.) and all kinds of skiing in winter, with a large ski area at 3 sites.
Paragliding is possible from Saint Hilaire du Touvet, 20 km away, accessed by funicular or road.
The Balcons de Belledonne road is famous for cycling.

Further remarks
When you arrive at the Gîte de Belledonne, the beds are made, towels are provided and the children can play in the garden or rummage in the play box.
You'll find everything you need to prepare a delicious meal, such as a raclette, a Savoyard fondue or a barbecue to enjoy on the terrace!
And to round off the day, after skiing or hiking, have a drink with a nice flambé or watch a film on the big screen.

Beyond a fixed rate of 8 kw/h per day at peak times, electricity is payable according to actual consumption at the end of the stay.
In winter, this consumption can be as much as €20/day, depending on the weather and the occupancy of the gîte.

Bien situé dans un joli hameau, en bonne position centrale pour visiter Grenoble, Vercors, Chartreuse, Savoie, etc... très confortables et bien équipés nous a parfaitement satisfaits pour un séjour printanier familial rs)... Belle vue depuis le gîte, possibilités de balades sur place, et accès pas trop lointain à l'axe Grenoble-Chambéry. La météo ne nous a pas permis de profiter de la terrasse ni du jardin (un jour de neige début mai !!), mais les espaces intérieurs sont vastes et confortables.

Excellent gîte pour des vacances en famille et très bien aménagé. Dommage que les escaliers intérieurs soient si raides.
