The house
In the heart of the Alps, in the geopark the Chablais listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site, you will find
our flat (altitude 1260m), which is located in the chalet-style 'Residence de Drouzin' and has breathtaking views over the vallee d'Aulp and the surrounding mountains.
The cosy living room has a fireplace. The 10-metre balcony has room enough for everyone.
The large flat-screen t.v. has a satellite connection (French t.v. and English TV) and there is free wifi.
The flat is bright, even in winter.and a ski box is at your disposal as well as 2 parking spaces.
In the living room there are no sofa beds, but ordinary comfortable sofas. This makes changing beds every evening and every morning unnecessary.
One of the bedrooms has direct access to the balcony and also benefits from the fantastic view.
There are two bathrooms; one with a sink, toilet and shower and one with a bath and sink. In addition, there is a separate toilet.
The kitchen is equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, induction hob, nespresso coffee machine, toaster, fridge, freezer, hand blender, etc.

In the heart of the Alps, of the natural geopark the Chablais listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the Col du Corbier, falling under the municipality of Le Biot.
Our flat (1260m) is located in the chalet-style 'Residence de Drouzin' and has breathtaking views over the vallee d'Aulp and the surrounding mountains.
Both summer and winter are great here. In summer, hikers in particular get their money's worth here. Le Residence is located at a junction of hiking routes, both green and blue and red, for every hiking level.
Besides hiking, you can swim in Lac Montriond (15 minutes), where there are also safe places for children with supervision in July and August. Children can also take pony rides around the lake. In St. Jean d'Aulp, it is possible for both adults and children to go horse riding. In addition, you can rent mountain bikes.
You can go out with sled dogs in Chatel (16 km), which are harnessed to carts in summer, a fantastic experience. You can also have an unforgettable experience with birds of prey in Chatel.
Chatel has a programme especially for children every week.
Furthermore, at distances shorter than 15 minutes there are lakes to visit, viewpoints, local cheese farms and much more.
The impressive "Gorges du pont du Diable" is well worth a visit.
Evian is a beautiful place on Lake Geneva with a free funicular , a golf course with 18 holes, a spa and along the promenade are beautiful buildings from 'la belle époque', among others. There is also a golf course in les Gets.
And food.... there is a restaurant in almost every village.
The Col du Corbier offers visitors peaceful and rugged surroundings and is a family-friendly resort. It is located above the village of le Biot and lies between the Abondance and Aulp valleys.
In winter, Col du Corbier is definitely ideal for families with (very) young children for a first outing in the snow and for toboggan rides. There is a beginner's slope that is also suitable for children. So parents, but also grandparents, can watch their (grand)children's first skiing lessons on the terrace of the adjoining restaurant in the sun while enjoying, for example, a cup of coffee. Hikers can indulge in snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in the great outdoors.
The nearest ski slope is 5 km away. In 15 minutes you can be in Morzine, in 10 minutes in Abondance and in 20 minutes in Avioraz (Portes du Sloleil) Bus connections are also available.
Also, the Roc d'enfer ski resort in St Jean d'Aulps offers 50 km of slopes for all levels in beautiful and unspoilt surroundings.

Wij hebben heel erg genoten in het appartement. Het was van alle gemakken voorzien. Heel netjes en lekker ruim.
De ligging is ook perfect. We hebben veel bezichtigd, lekker gezwommen in het meer van Genevé en in Les Gets was voor de kinderen veel te knutselen.
Als we in de toekomst weer richting die kant op gaan dan gaan we zeker weer kijken of we het weer kunnen boeken.
