The house
Chalet Alpage at 1200m altitude in the Savoy style, completely south facing with all comforts. 2 bedrooms with walk-in shower and 1 bedroom with separate shower, with healthy spring water.
two separate toilets, spacious kitchen with everything, raclette and pierrade appliances available and upstairs cozy sitting area with sunny balcony, TV with Dutch channels, spacious outdoor terrace where you can fully enjoy the sun. chill with the woodstove.
In the summer, accessible via private road where you can park at 150 m, then a along footpath through the alpine meadow to the chalet where you can fully enjoy peace.
In winter, depending on the snow, winter tyres and chains are needed.

Detached chalet at 1200m altitude with beautiful mountain views accessible by private road and parking at 150 m from the chalet, footpath for last 150 m through the alpine meadow.
Located Abondance Melon, turn off at the bus stop you pass church Chapelle Saint Joseph, follow the road straight up to the end then turn right and follow the paved private road Chemin De Versaire, about 1500m with the necessary bends, you pass a dilapidated farm, at the top you can park.

Ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf in La Case. Mooi en comfortabel huis met heerlijk terras. Prima bedden en lekker veel kastruimte. Het uitzicht is fantastisch en je komt helemaal tot rust in deze prachtige omgeving. Vanaf het terras kun je goed roofvogels spotten. Vanaf het huis loop je in ongeveer 20 minuten naar het dorp waar diverse restaurants en 2 supermarkten zijn. Op zondag is er een uitgebreide markt. Veel mogelijkheden om te wandelen in de buurt en diverse plekken waar je met een skilift verder de bergen in kunt. Roofvogelpark met spectaculaire show op ongeveer half uur rijden. Zeker een aanrader!

Comfortabele chalet op een prachtige locatie.
Je moet met je auto een smal wegje nemen de berg op en van aan de parkeerplaats nog eens een 150 tal meter wandelen om tot bij de chalet te komen. Maar de moeite is het zeker waard want wat een rust en wat een prachtig uitzicht krijg je hiervoor terug!
De chalet is ruim, netjes en alle gemakken zijn aanwezig.
Alex, de eigenaar, spreekt Nederlands, is zeer vriendelijk en vlot bereikbaar per mail of telefoon bij problemen of vragen. Hij bracht onze bagage ook tot aan de chalet (en terug) met zijn quad zodat we het zelf niet moesten dragen.
We hebben ons niet verveeld, er zijn voldoende activiteiten in de nabije omgeving om een week met kindjes (10 en 7 jaar) te vullen.
Zeker een aanrader dus!

Wat hebben we genoten in deze ruime Chalet, La Casa in Abondance met spectaculair uitzicht, een grote keukentafel voor acht pers, drie badkamers en schone en smaakvolle inrichting. We hebben heerlijk gewandeld in de omgeving met uitzicht op de Mont Blanc, 2.5 km geziplined boven een dal, Evean bezocht en veel spelletjes gespeeld. We zijn helemaal weer uitgerust huiswaarts gegaan. Dit huis is echt een aanrader en heeft een vriendelijke gastheer.

distance: 150 meters - 2 kms near skiing
Cosy ski area in Abondance at 15 minutes, ski area Bernex and then 650km of ski fun Portes Du Soleil at 30 minutes. Cross-country skiing and hiking with snow rackets in the turn.

Activities
In summer, well-marked mountain hikes, rafting and hydrospeed on the Dranse river, cycling along the banks of the Dranse. Ski lifts in operation in summer so you can easily reach the alpine farms and the casting village of Lindaret.
Lac Leman with beautiful towns like Evian and flower village Yvoir at 30 min.
Chamonix and Geneva in the turn.

Further remarks
In the summer the last 150 m via footpath through the meadow to the chalet.
In winter, depending on the snow, you must sometimes park the car a little lower, keep that in mind for your luggage best bags and backpack and winter shoes, but you will be rewarded by a unique location and peace.
