The house
Résidence Château Ferrassières, situated in the Provence (Drôme), is characterised by an informal ambiance where luxurious enjoyment is of paramount importance. It is a small-scale residence that lies against a nature reserve and is surrounded by lavender fields. The flats are equipped with all modern conveniences and comforts and yet have the appearance that fits this unique, authentic building. The Siemens kitchen is fully equipped (including a dishwasher).
The flat has a separate, spacious bedroom and a sofa bed (160 cm wide) in the living room. If necessary, this can be made up for a third or fourth person. The Château has a panorama lift. Some flats have a terrace or balcony.
Spread over the 3 ha estate, there are several seats created for our guests. So there is always a possibility to enjoy the garden around the Résidence Château Ferrassières the chateau.

Résidence Château Ferrassières is located just outside the village of Ferrassières, which is particularly famous for its annual lavender festival (1st Sunday of July). It is located in the Unesco classified area of Mont Ventoux. Within that area are the villages of Sault and Montbrun les Bains. The latter is one of the most beautiful (medieval) villages in France and is known for its spa and medical treatments in the thermal baths.

Un site splendide, au milieu de la nature, au calme, ce que je recherchais.
A cette période, nous étions quasiment seuls : nous avions la piscine, le sauna et le jacuzzi rien que pour nous.
Nous avons été très accueillis, avec un message de bienvenue.
Nous avions nos deux chiens et eux aussi ont été accueillis comme des rois : gamelles, tapis confortable, friandises, c'est la première fois que nos toutous sont si bien accueillis.
Les hôtes sont discrets mais très disponibles, je recommande chaleureusement et espère y retourner.

Wat een geweldige plek! De appartementen zijn superschoon, fris, modern en goed onderhouden. Bianca en Marek zijn enorm servicegericht, gastvrij en denken enorm mee met hun gasten.
Het Château is heerlijk rustig gelegen en heeft overal fijne plekken om te zitten of je te vermaken (tennisbaan, Jeu de Boules baan, sauna, zwembad en jacuzzi).
Een hele fijne plek om tot rust te komen. Maar ook een hele goede plek als uitvalsbasis om actief te zijn. Vlakbij de Mont Ventoux gelegen en ook de rest van de omgeving is werkelijk schitterend.

Résidence Château Ferrassières is situated in the middle of the lavender fields surrounded by several medieval towns. There are many local markets and plenty of restaurants where you can eat delicious Provencal food. Also in the middle of the wine regions of Mont Ventoux and Entrechoux to the Château Neuf du Pâpe and Beaumes-de-Venise.

* Carpentras truffle market: Friday mornings from mid-November to mid-March
* Avignon: Les Halles, covered market in the centre of Avignon, every morning except Monday
* L'Isle sur la Sorgue: every Sunday a brocanterie and antiques market throughout the city. The many antique shops are also open. This market attracts more than ten thousand visitors and is world famous.
* Velleron: Agricole market, producers' market, from 31 March to the end of September open every day from 18.00 except Sundays and public holidays. In the winter months, until 31 March, this market is open from 16.30 on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, except on public holidays. It is a very busy market where you can buy all kinds of fresh products directly from the producer. The offer and especially the diversity will amaze you.
* Venasque has a night market every Friday evening from 17.00 to 20.00 from mid June to mid September.
Activities
Résidence Château Ferrassières is a fantastic starting point for various activities. Visit the lovely villages such as Sault, Vaison-la-Romaine, Bédoin, or the cosy markets with their local products such as truffles, nougat, olives, herbs etc. Also for the sporty types there is a lot to do...cycling to the top of the Mont Ventoux? Or enjoy the beautiful nature and the colourful surroundings with the lavender fields and the ochre quarries.
On request, group holidays can be organised with a theme: e.g. culinary week (communal outdoor kitchen), creative (painting, drawing), sportive (walking, cycling, tennis, abseiling, etc.). Near the entrance, we have a locked bicycle shed for your precious bicycle.

And don't forget the wellness. In the nearby town of Montbrun les Bains, there are healing spas, and in our residence, you can use the indoor pool, saunas, and outdoor jacuzzi and sun terrace with sun beds.
