The house
Holiday home Vignoble in the Drôme department is located in an authentic French country house amidst rolling vineyards. It is a cosy and comfortable holiday home of 50 m2 for up to 4 people. Private garden and terrace with covered BBQ area. An ideal base for making trips or enjoying the fantastic views of the Trois Becs mountain range. Location for peace seekers and nature lovers. No pets allowed.
For stays of 10 nights or more, you will receive a 10% long stay discount. Arrival and departure days are possible on Saturday, Sunday and/or Wednesday.
Layout:
Living room with open kitchen. Two bedrooms, one with French door to the garden. Comfortable 2-metre-long box-spring beds. All rooms on the ground floor.
Amenities:
Living room with 2 armchairs, 2-seater sofa and dining table for four. Internet connection and quality hi-fi set. Kitchen with 4-burner gas hob, combi oven/microwave, fridge with freezer compartment (table model 118 litres), coffee machine and toaster. Bedroom with a double box-spring bed 140x200 cm and wardrobe. Second bedroom with two single box-spring beds 80x200 cm and wardrobe. All duvets are single. All rooms have central heating. Shower room with large shower and single washbasin. Separate toilet. Organic toiletries are available. The holiday home's washing machine is in a separate room in the courtyard.

Situated among rolling vineyards on the outskirts of wine village Aurel. Magnificent views of the surrounding mountains, such as the 'Trois Becs' massif. Paragliders regularly descend from the 'Butte de l'Aigle' and land in Aurel. Some agricultural activities. Grape harvest from the end of August.

Wat hebben wij met ons gezin een geweldige vakantie gehad! De gite is klein, maar heel fijn! Alles is netjes en schoon, in de keuken was alles aanwezig: genoeg glazen en pannen, bestek, servies en andere benodigdheden. Geen vaatwasser, maar vonden wij totaal geen probleem. Om de beurt afwassen! Verder is het echt een 2 sterren huisje: daar is de prijs ook naar! Geen luxe, maar wel heel netjes en verzorgd.
Wij leefden vooral buiten, er is een heerlijk overdekt terras (schaduw) en er staan twee lekkere ligstoelen om in te relaxen. Er is een wasmachine en groot wasrek. Wij waren nog nooit in deze streek in Frankrijk geweest. Wij vonden het fantastisch mooi en zijn veel op pad geweest. Het water zo zó blauw! De locatie van deze gite is echt perfect. Je bent binnen 5 minuten met de auto bij de rivier de Drôme. We hebben veel verschillende leuke zwemplekken gevonden. Zie je auto’s langs de weg staan, dan is daar een zwemplek(je). Binnen 10 minuten rijden sta je aan de vallei van de Roanne. Dat was onze favoriet. (zie foto) Wat een paradijselijk mooie plek!
Onze dochters van 15 en 12 hebben ook genoten van zwemmen, canyoning, springen van rotsen enz. M’n man heeft veel gemountainbiket in de buurt. In Aurel zelf zit een camping waar je heerlijk kunt eten en op bestelling in de ochtend ook brood kunt halen. Ideaal dat je dit op loopafstand hebt.
Mariëlle is een hele fijne beheerster. Als je vragen hebt, kun je bij haar terecht. In de gite is een uitgebreide map met van allerlei informatie over het huis en de streek. Er is ook voldoende privacy.

We hebben meerdere keren in Vignoble verbleven. Het is een eenvoudige gites, maar alles wat je nodig hebt is er. En de plek is fantastisch. En tot slot: Marielle en Robert zijn aardige mensen, die je alle vrijheid laten.

Het blijft een geweldige plek om te wandelen, tot rust te komen en te overdenken.
Lekker zitten in de tuin met uitzicht op de wijngaarden en het fraaie uitzicht.
Mariëlle en Robert: we komen graag terug.
Restaurants, food & wine
Wine cellars with the local bubbles 'Clairette de Die'. Enjoying squares and terraces of numerous restaurants. Morning markets with local products such as goat's cheese (picodon), honey and walnuts. The Drôme department is known for its many organic products.
Activities
Hiking in the mountains and among the vineyards. Swimming in the valley of the Roanne and the Drôme river, canoeing, canyoning, paragliding. Spotting griffon vultures or mountain marmots. Many natural highlights such as the cirque of Saou with the Trois Becs mountain range, Vercors natural park, waterfall of the Druise, and vertical limestone rocks Sucettes de Borne. Hire of mountain bikes and e-bikes. Donkey and mule rides. Panoramic routes by bike or car. Lavender fields (harvest between mid-July and mid-August). Medieval villages with morning markets and restaurants, highest castle tower of France in Crest, wine festivals and concerts.

Rental conditions:
-The box-spring beds are only suitable for persons with a body weight of up to 120 kg
-Pets are not allowed
-No smoking inside
-Payment: 10% deposit due upon signature of rental contract. Payment remaining rent 4 weeks before arrival.
-Check-in from 15:00 hrs.
-Check out no later than 10:00. Delivery broom clean
Practicalities:
Long mattresses (2 metres) and pillows are fitted with cotton moltons. All duvets are single.
Folding cot and/or high chair can be placed free of charge.
Rental service of bed linen, shower sheets and/or kitchen towels.
Also present: rubbish bags, washing-up brush, new sponge cloth, coffee filters, salt and pepper.
Washing machine in separate room
Driving distance: bread in Vercheny 5 minutes, shops/restaurants 10 minutes and supermarkets 20-25 minutes.
Route/attention please:
There are two villages Aurel in southern France both in the Drôme department and the Vaucluse! Distance 1050 km from Utrecht and 890 km from Brussels.
