gite La Source des Baronnies

The gite "la source des Baronnies" sleeps 6 people and is located in Drôme provençale, in the heart of the Baronnies nature park, 4 km from Nyons at the foot of the picturesque village of Aubres. It is situated in the beautiful Eygues valley, 10 minutes' walk from the village.
Between fields of olive trees, apricot trees and lavender, you'll find your corner of paradise, with a wide choice of activities for everyone: walking or cycling, Provencal markets and tasting of regional produce, and visits to cultural sites.
The house
On the south-facing ground floor, this passive bioclimatic house was built in 2024 using a combination of wood, straw insulation and triple-glazed wooden frames. In a natural and peaceful setting, not overlooked, with a 1500m2 garden, ample parking and several covered and uncovered wooden terraces of 70m2 in the middle of nature. A natural swimming pool measuring 2m x 8m x 1.50m deep with its planted pool will allow you to enjoy a refreshing swim in the middle of nature, just like in a river. An alarm is installed but your children are your responsibility. You can play petanque in the car park. The main room of 50m2 with its many bay windows will allow you to enjoy the landscape and stay cool in summer thanks to the very good straw insulation (and VMC double flow) fully equipped kitchen: fridge and oven in the cellar, central island with stool, induction hob, table with 6 chairs, sofas, and comfortable armchairs. A spacious stone bathroom with walk-in shower, washbasin, wc and separate washbasin near the entrance. For sleeping arrangements, there is 1 bedroom of 9m2 with bay window, 160x200 bed and storage space, a bedroom of 12m2 with bay window with 160x200 bed and storage space, a bedroom of 15m2 with rapido 160x190 sofa bed and its large private terrace as well as a bathroom with walk-in shower, washbasin and wc. You will be able to enjoy the plancha facing the swimming pool, garden furniture, outdoor sofa, deckchair, hammock and parasol. Opposite the house, you will find a charming private wood by the stream. For lovers of walks and hikes, you will be delighted, 1 km away you will find the beautiful waterfalls of Aubres, the river Eygues to refresh you.

Non-smoking accommodation, disturbances at night and parties not accepted, pets not allowed.
Sheets are provided as well as a towel per person.
Cleaning at the end of your stay is compulsory, the house must be left with the dishes put away and the sheets removed.
