The house
In the south of the Ardèche is this flat for 2 people. A place to holiday, enjoy nature and relax. The flat is next to our house, an old Relais de Poste from 1750. The private terrace has a beautiful view over the Montagne d'Ardèche.
Nothing is missing: the bedroom with king-size bed and air conditioning, the kitchen fully equipped with Nespresso machine, fridge, dishwasher, microwave/oven and cooker, living to private terrace and bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet.
We live in the house next to the apartment, so are nearby for questions etc. but respect everyone's privacy.
The swimming pool (12x6m.) is shared with 2 other flats. At the pool is also an honesty bar. The 1ha garden is at your disposal, with a large number of different trees such as olive, cypress and fig, hammocks and various seating areas.
Relais de Poste is very conveniently located: close to attractions such as the Gorges de l'Ardèche, le Pont du Gard, les Grottes Chauvet and the beautiful towns of Barjac, Uzès, Balazuc and Voguë.
From active holidaymakers who enjoy cycling, hiking, canoeing and motorcycling, to nature lovers who like to spot birds in the Cevennes, to those who want to unwind in an environment where life is just a little more relaxed.

On the outskirts of Saint-André-de-Cruzières, next to vineyards and olive groves, where the Cévennes and the Ardèche meridionale meet. In the village there is a cosy café, a pleasant restaurant and a very complete épicerie.

Het was weer een feest! We hebben weer een fantastisch verblijf gehad, prachtig weer, heerlijke ruimte, uitstekend bed en buitenruimte met plancha. Kortom prachtige locatie. Het ontbreekt je werkelijk aan niets. Ontbijtje, prachtig diner in de tuin. En bovenal wat een gastvrijheid. Dank Silvia en Leander en natuurlijk Coco.

Prachtig schoon appartement met alles wat je nodig hebt gelegen in een klein dorpje. Vriendelijke eigenaren. Mooie omgeving en een goede basis voor uitstapjes. We zijn er heerlijk tot rust gekomen. De 3 appartementen liggen zo dat je veel privacy hebt. Het is fijn dat er maximaal 6 gasten zijn. Zwembad is heerlijk met een barretje erbij. De tuin is groot met leuke plekjes waar je kan zitten. Kortom een hele fijne plek.

Enjoy the delicious wines of the Ardèche and the Cévennes. Visit local producers and taste goat's cheeses, olive oil, saucisson, crème de marrons, fruit juices, honey and many other good things this area has to offer.
Activities
In a serene part of the Ardèche on the border with the Gard, Relais de Poste is ideally situated, close to the many attractions of this area. But just far enough away to be away from the crowds. A place for the sporty holidaymaker; the winding roads are perfect for the cyclists and motorcyclists among us. Do you like walking and bird watching? You can indulge yourself here. Or are you a water rat? Then canoeing or kayaking on the Ardèche, Cèze or Chassezac is really something for you.
For those who love typical French marchés, this is also the right place. The weekly market in Barjac is very complete, and Barjac is a beautiful and romantic town. For the shopaholic, there is Uzès. This city with its famous Saturday market and many boutiques and galleries is definitely worth a visit. Culture and history are not lacking here either. The Grotte Chauvet is world famous. Or what about the Pont du Gard?
In short, you will certainly get your money's worth here.
