Luxury, atmospheric gîte in detached authentic holiday home. Close to the beautiful, typical French village of Barjac in the Gard and Vallon Pont d'Arc in the Ardèche.

The gîte is located on the entire ground floor of the holiday home (75m2), has its own entrance and is therefore completely separated from the upper floor (which is not rented).

The French holiday home in which the gîte is located is in a small hammeau. Quiet but centrally located. Free view, so no view of houses from the garden. View of the mountains where you can walk or (race) cycle. In the garden is a swimming pool of 5x10 meter which runs from shallow to deep. The pool is heated in the pre-and post-season. At a small distance lies the river the Cèze in which it is also lovely to swim. At about 15 minutes distance from the gîte is on one side Barjac and on the other side Saint Ambroix. Nice French villages where the larger supermarkets are present. At 2 minutes from the gîte is a small epicerie where you can get baguettes, vegetables, cheese and the daily groceries. From the gîte you can visit beautiful cities; Uzes, Nîmes, Arles, Montpellier (by the sea), Narbonne. Vallont Pont d'Arc is close by; a beautiful nature with many activities to do like canoeing and climbing.

Wat "een daalders plekkie". Mooie tuin, heerlijk zwembad, goede bedden, prachtig servies, comfortabele douche. Het heeft ons aan niets ontbroken. Niet in de laatste plaats door de uitstekende gastvrouw & heer, Puck en Pieter, die het plaatje compleet maakten!! We hebben vele weerselementen meegemaakt; wind, regen, zon, onweer. Hierdoor waren de avonden koeler en hebben we vaker binnen vertoefd, na zonsondergang. Kleine opmerking hierover, gezien wij de leeftijd van brildragend hebben bereikt...., misten we licht boven de eettafel, om goed te kunnen zien. Maarre uh ... "minor detail". We hebben hier heerlijk verbleven, in "het hart van de Ardèche". Héél hartelijk dank voor dat we in jullie paleisje mochten verblijven! Helaas vertrekken we weer noordwaarts, want we zijn nog lang niet uitgekeken! Nogmaals dank! Het was on een genoegen.

Het was alweer 10 jaar, of langer geleden dat we in de Ardèche waren. De streek heeft nog niets van zijn charme verloren! Het gezellige Barjac met z'n leuke cafés (Au bon vieux temps!), het "dorpse" Saint-Ambroix met zijn heerlijke restaurants (La Banque - Goede tip, Richard!). De geweldige waterpret- plek aan de Cèzei in Saint-Denis! En daarbij kunnen logeren in dit kleine paradijsje dat Le Bel Endroit is. Zeer smaakvol ingericht, praktisch huis met alles erop en eraan; kwalitatieve matrassen op de bedden 2 (!!) terrassen (wat een luxe), een fantastisch zwembad, En een fijne ontvangst!! En dat alles overgoten met een heerlijk weertje - een verademing deze zomer! Bedankt ook Richard voor de tip van de varkensboerderij annex - slagerij in Saint-Sauveur. Het was top!

Als je op vakantie gaat, hoop je maar dat het zo mooi is als het er online uitzag. Nou dat is zeker het geval. En niet alleen dat ..... Vanaf het eerste moment voelden wij ons welkom in jullie mooie gîte. Naast het mooie huis met fijne tuin en heerlijk zwembad hebben we genoten van veel dingen die de regio te bieden heeft. Dank voor jullie tips, stuk voor stuk zijn ze goed geweest. Een mooie centrale plek voor een heerlijke vakantie. We hebben genoten van jullie plek, jullie tips. De behulpzaamheid en jullie gastvrijheid, want dat maakt jullie mooie plek echt compleet. Dank voor alles en we zullen onze ervaring bij jullie met liefde delen met anderen. Je kunt hier echt verblijven als een God in Frankrijk. Veel liefs en alle goeds!
Restaurants, food & wine
Barjac (Gard) is located nearby (approx. 15 minutes by car) where you can find numerous restaurants and terraces. Every Friday is the beautiful market in Barjac where besides trinkets also plenty of delicious tapas, olives, cheeses, vegetables, bread and wines and other typical French goods are for sale. In the vicinity of the cottage there are many wine caves and houses where you can buy delicious local wines. In the vicinity are nice villages where it is delicious food. The French, Italian kitchen with delicious pizzas but there are also more luxurious restaurants to be found such as the culinary De Auberge in Banne.
Activities
Gîte Le Bel Endroit is centrally located between the Ardèche and the Gard. Within 20 minutes you are in the vicinity of George de Ardèche. The river Ardèche flows through a 30 km long gorge. In this area are numerous activities to undertake as canoeing, cycling, swimming in the lovely rivers, a climbing wall, the climbing forest, hiking and much more! But also at easy distance are the beautiful cities of Uzes, Lussan, Barjac and Nîmes with the impressive aqueduct Pont du Gard. The sea is also accessible from the holiday home via Montpellier and/or Narbonne. For nature lovers, the Cevennes are nearby and from the cottage there are lovely walks on the footpaths. During the holiday season there is a market every day of the week in Joyeuse, Barjac, Les Vans and Saint Ambroix. In the atmospheric cottage, bicycles are available, a hammock, table tennis and on the terrace further down the road there are small football goals and a trampoline. There are also Jeu de Boules balls available. The holiday home is located in a typical hameau Pierregras, part of the village Saint André de Cruzières. Quiet but not isolated.

The upper floor is not rented. During holiday periods, the owners themselves are present on the upper floor, with 2 children, one of whom is now an adult who is no longer always present. They also use the swimming pool. (Outside holiday periods, the managers are present).
Additional price info and offers
All prices include bed, bath and kitchen linen and the tax. Cleaning costs € 55,- per stay, the deposit is € 150,-. Free Wifi. The cottage is animal and non-smoking. There is a safe in the cottage. The swimming pool is heated in the early and late season. For the little ones, there is a baby bed, a baby bath and a baby chair. There is a washing machine available, € 5,- per wash. Do you have a hybrid car? Then you can charge your car at the current electricity rates.
