The house
Gite Chapelèche "Les Genêts" can accommodate up to 7 people. It has a bathroom with washbasin, bath and WC and 3 bedrooms:
- 1st level bedroom, 4 people: a double bed (140 x 200) on the ground floor and a double bed (140 x 200) in mezzanine (accessible for children over 6 years). This room has WC and bathroom.
- 3rd level bedroom, two single beds which can be made into a double bed (90 x 200 and 90 x 200).

Wood for the central heating can be provided by us (10 Euros per day extra) + Godin stove in the living room (wood provided)
The house is open all year, rentals by the week (by day outside the holidays).

Chapelèche is located on a southern slope of the Ardeche, 700 meters above sea level, in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Monts d'Ardèche.
Magnificent view of the Gluey valley where you can swim (10 minutes from the cottage).
Chapelèche has two gîtes: on the western side "Les Châtaigniers" and this one, "Les Genêts".
These two lodgings are completely independent (access and independent terrace, not opposite, no noise).

Magnificent view over the Glueyre valley, where you can swim, in natural "pools" carved in granite, or on supervised bathing spots, for example near Saint Sauveur de Montagut or Le Cheylard.
Beautiful hikes can be made right from the gite.
Many possibilities for excursions: Mount Gerbier de Joncs (20 kms), the Ray Pic waterfall (20 kms), the gorges of Ardeche (60 kms), ..
Other activities for also for children: Aquarock Adventure in Saint Sauveur de Montagut, kayaking/ canoeing on the Eyrieux river, horse riding, mountain bike, etc ...
