The entire property with its swimming pool is for your exclusive use. Make the most of the outside area with its large private swimming pool where you can relax in total peace and quiet. The unfenced garden has several terraces where you can relax, barbecue or play (table tennis, swing, etc.).

There is a comfortable lounge with a large sofa, a large television and a NETFLIX account for film evenings. In season, you can also enjoy a cosy Cévenole fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals: oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and all the cooking utensils you might need for a pleasant stay.

How to get here:
This gîte is easily accessible by car, 1h15 from the A7 motorway exit, 1h from Montélimar station and around 2h from Nîmes airport. You can park directly on site. The property is not suitable for people with reduced mobility (numerous external and internal staircases, uneven ground, parking far from the house).

The gite is located in the commune of Chassiers, a village of character in the southern Ardèche and in the Monts d'Ardèche regional park. The house sits on a south-facing terraced hillside at the foot of the hamlet of Joux. From the terrace and swimming pool, the panoramic view stretches as far as the Mont Ventoux.

Philippe ist ein sehr toller und freundlicher Gastgeber. Die sehr schöne und aussergewöhnlich atttaktive Unterkunft war besonders gut und sorgfältig ausgestattet: einerseits hatte es alle wichtigen und noch zusätzlichen Küchenutensilien und andererseits war die Unterkunft mit Pool und Bouleplatz sowie Netflix-Zugang doch sehr besonders. Im Übrigen war ws blitzsauber. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und empfehlen das ruhige Haus sehr.

Uitstekend verblijf doorgebracht in Calade de Joux, met vrienden. We waren als gezin al in april 2023 gekomen.
Het huisje voldoet volledig aan de beschrijving. Afhankelijk van het weer zijn de verschillende terrassen zeer aangenaam. Het zwembad was erg populair bij jong en oud. Het omliggende groen, de rust en het uitzicht maken deze plek tot een aantrekkelijke plek.

Nearby, numerous hiking and mountain-biking trails, small cycling routes (the famous L'Ardechoise race passes through), villages of character (CHASSIERS, AILHON, LABEAUME ....) and some of the most beautiful villages in France (BALAZUC, RUOMS). Canoe trips on the Ardeche 15 minutes away, wander through the gorges of the Ardèche and its tributaries. Visits to numerous caves, in particular the Caverne du Pont d'ARC (CHAUVET cave), a UNESCO World Heritage site.
We will be happy to advise you on the small restaurants around the gite.

The house is strictly non-smoking.
Dogs are accepted subject to obtaining the owners' agreement before booking (categories 1 & 2 according to French law refused).
The property is not suitable for people with reduced mobility (numerous staircases, parking far from the entrance to the house) - If in doubt, please contact us.
The bedroom on the first floor has a maximum height of 1.7 m.
The swimming pool is open throughout the season, except during the festive season.

-Packed lunch on the evening of your arrival 25€ and breakfast the next day 25€ extra.
-Late arrival after 10pm: supplement 30€/hour started
Use of the wood-burning stove before week 21 and after week 39 with a supplement of 70€ per week. For the festive season, the use of the stove is included in the price. This price includes the supply of kindling, firelighters and firewood.
