Le Mas de Vignal GÎte
Mas de Vignal is located in the quiet Le Vignal, a picturesque village in the southern Ardèche. This luxurious villa can accommodate 12 people and consists of two separate compartments: the main house where you can stay with 10 people and an adjoining gite for 2 people.
This advertisement concerns the gîte for 2 persons, and is only rented separately out of season. You may have to share the swimming pool with the guests of the main house.
From the swimming pool (10m x 5m) with panoramic overflow system, you can enjoy the beautiful view over the green valley. On the property there is a well maintained olive grove, a petanque court and an outdoor kitchen with barbecue. The Mas is located on a hill and it is pleasant to relax on the various terraces overlooking the beautiful countryside. There is plenty of shaded parking.
The interior of the villa also radiates tranquillity. Solid materials have been used so that you can enjoy your holiday in all comfort. The kitchen is equipped with all kinds of appliances and from the living room you can step out onto the spacious covered terrace. There is television and wifi available. The gite is equipped with air conditioning. Pets are not allowed.

The house is located in Le Vignal, a picturesque village with only a few dozen inhabitants: peace and quiet guaranteed. In the small town of Les Vans, about ten minutes' drive from Le Vignal, you can enjoy a glass of southern wine or delicious regional dishes. If you want to dine at star level, you can visit Piet Huysentruyt's restaurant Likoké.
Numerous cafés and restaurants situated around a typical French village square: it is pleasant to relax in the authentic village streets of Les Vans. You can also do your shopping in local shops and markets or in the supermarkets.
Activities
The Gorges de lArdèche, with its rock formations and coves, is well known and loved. The best way to explore this carved river is by canoe or kayak. Adventure is guaranteed, even on the somewhat calmer Chassezac! A brisk walk or bike ride in Boïs de Païolieve offer an ideal sporting alternative. Or how about a game of tennis under the bright sunshine on the tennis court in the village?
Guaranteed fun in the Ardèche! Venture into the vast nature reserve of Vallon-Pont-dArc and discover the natural arched bridge that gives access to the Gorges de l'Ardèche. Or visit one of the admirable villages de caractère, including the medieval castle town of Vögué.
If you prefer more adventure, you can descend with a guide into the stalactite cave of Aven dOrgnac. And real daredevils can visit the crocodile farm in Pierrelatte! This and much more can be experienced in the Ardèche!

Markets and vide greniers
The weekly markets in Les Vans, Joyeuse and Lablachère are very pleasant. Here, you will find all kinds of regional products: from refreshing wines and French meat specialities to olives and hearty cheeses. On the so-called vide greniers you can rummage through antiques and vintage objects.
