À spacious farmhouse in the beautiful Charente Maritime countryside, Chez Fauret has 6 large bedrooms, all with en suite shower or bathrooms. There is a large kitchen dining room and a huge split level lounge, which opens to your garden and your private swimming pool. There are 5 double and 10 single beds that offers a wide choice of sleeping arrangements. The maximum legal capacity is 15 persons, adult or child. No additional guests are permitted.
The exterior offers magnificent views across the valley, a large garden with lawn, a dining terrace with, tables chairs and parasols next to the house. Just 5m from your holiday home is your private swimming pool 7.5m x4.5m 1.1m deep with a decking surround and multiple sun loungers. A security fence and lockable gates offers protection against unsupervised access by children.

La gastronomie et le vin
During the summer months the restaurant next door provides the opportunity to go out for dinner without taking the car. On occasions the have live music that you can go and enjoy.
The towns of Jonzac and Montendre have an array of restaurants to fit all price ranges and tastes. Food delivery services are available. The village of Leoville has a very popular open air restaurant where the food is cooked on a barbecue. Reservations are recommended. Both towns have a weekly night market with street food and musical entertainment. Further afield you will find a huge choice of restaurants with different specialities.
Moulons is on the edge of Cognac, just 45 minutes away, with its historic drink and beautiful vineyards. Less than a hour away is the Bordeaux wine region, the biggest in the world and St Emillion is an hour away. Wine tours are available locally as well. Try the local wines and Pineau, a fortified wine which is drank as an aperative.

The nearby town of Montendre has its own theme park and golf course, 10 minutes from your holiday home. The surrounding countryside offers many walking trails. Also there are lakes and rivers that offer fishing opportunities.
15 minutes away is the historic market town of Jonzac, with its beautiful chateau, weekly market, river walks and the famous Antilles Water Park, with indoor and outdoor facilities. The beautiful city of Bordeaux is less than a hour away, Cognac is 45 minutes and the beach at St George Didonne is 65 minutes.
