Our detached spacious villa with swimming pool was completed in summer 2012 and features very luxurious and completely new furnishings. The house with a total living area of 120m2 consists of a spacious living room with open kitchen, utility room, three spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate toilet. The house is ground floor. The house is surrounded by a garden on different levels. Stairs lead down to the lower part of the garden and the swimming pool. On the two terraces you can enjoy the sun or shade all day, depending on your preference. On the terrace by the pool you can use comfortable sun loungers and a parasol. A barbecue is also at your disposal.
The 35m2 living room is equipped with all amenities such as a comfortable seating area, large six-person dining table and a Full HD flat-screen TV with all Dutch television and radio channels. A CD/DVD player is at your disposal. The house has wireless WiFi internet access, which you can use free of charge. You can also use the available books and magazines.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a four-burner ceramic hob, combination microwave oven and dishwasher. You can also use the washing machine and tumble dryer located in the utility room. Here you will also find an additional fridge freezer.
Bedroom one is equipped with a comfortable double bed (200x160).
The second bedroom is equipped with two single beds (200x80) pushed together. These can easily be separated to become two separate single beds.
The third bedroom has a single bed (200x80). You can easily extend this bed with another also (200x80) to create a full and comfortable double bed.
One of the bedrooms has an adjoining bathroom. Little guests have also been thought of; a folding cot and high chair are available.
Both bathrooms are luxuriously equipped with a walk-in shower. One bathroom is equipped with a washbasin cabinet with double washbasin. The other bathroom has a washbasin cabinet with single washbasin.
The house also includes an ironing board and iron, hoover, drying rack and cleaning products.

The property is located in a nice quiet residential area in Anduze. You can reach the centre of Anduze via a nice 15-minute walk or within 5 minutes by car. Anduze, also called "La porte des Cevennes" is a lively town with terraces, restaurants and nice shopping streets. In high season, all sorts of activities take place such as art markets, evening markets and wine tastings. Even outside the high season, there is always something going on. Anduze is a pottery town and is known for its vases d'Anduze. From Anduze, you can take the old steam train through the beautiful countryside to St.Jean du Gard. The large bamboo forest "Le Banbousserai" is also worth a visit.

Net als vorig jaar hebben we een heerlijke vakantie gehad in deze mooie villa, welke van alle comfort is voorzien. Mooi uitzicht vanuit het terras van de villa. ‘s avonds genieten op het terras van de rust en de mooie luchten. Voor ons was de villa ook een goed vertrekpunt om te fietsen in de Cevennen, heerlijk rustige wegen en prachtige uitzichten. Kortom een heerlijke vakantie gehad.

Wij hebben een topweek gehad!!! Zo blij dat we dit huis last minute nog konden vastleggen. Deze week was veel te snel voorbij natuurlijk! We voelden ons direct thuis! Jullie hebben dit zo goed ingericht en voorzien... we hadden zelf veel te veel bij 😂
Dit adresje is een absolute aanrader! In de omgeving is veel te doen, je kan gewoon beneden naar het dorp om de stoomtrein van de Cevennen te nemen, met waterschoenen een wandeling maken in de Gardon om je eigenste natuur-privé zwembadje te ontdekken, wandelen in de mooie natuur...

We zouden dit jaar weer naar L'Esprit du Sud gaan, onze eerste week van de zomervakantie. Om lekker uit te rusten en de kids wilden heel graag weer naar het prachtige zwembad... Het liep anders. Door corona hebben we in het voorjaar contact opgenomen met Ruud en Ine, gevraagd of er mogelijkheden zijn om de vakantie een jaar uit te stellen. Ruud en Ine hebben meegedacht met een oplossing die voor ons allen goed was, dat was erg fijn.
En ook heel fijn dat we Anduze nog te goed hebben! Een jaar voorpret!
Activities
In the immediate vicinity, you can swim in the river Gardon and you can take beautiful walks in the nearby nature reserve. The convenient location makes it possible to make trips from here to, among others, Uzès, Nîmes, Arles and Avignon. If you want to spend a day at the beach, you can. The Mediterranean Sea is at 1 hour driving distance. You can also combine this with a visit to the famous nature reserve "the Camargue".

Villa l'Esprit is a very comfortable and modern villa with all luxury and comfort and its own swimming pool. The villa is situated in beautiful and quiet surroundings in a suburb of the cosy town Anduze. You can easily reach Anduze on foot, it is a walk of about 15 minutes. You can leave the car behind when you go for a bite to eat in one of the restaurants in the town and enjoy a glass of wine with a carefree heart.

Rental prices are per week and do not include a one-off 125 euro cleaning fee (pool and final cleaning)
The deposit is 400 euro.
Bed/bath and kitchen linen should be brought by yourself. Duvet and pillows are provided.
When booking you will receive an overview of the linen you need to bring yourself.
The rental period runs from Saturday to Saturday. Departure in the morning at 10 a.m. at the latest. Arrival from 16.00 in the afternoon.
If you have chosen a specific period, we will put it in option for you. After a down payment of 25% of the rental sum, the rental agreement will be finalised. The remaining amount must be paid no later than six weeks before the rental period. After receiving the rental payment, you will receive the address details and directions to our house as well as all other "instructions". We recommend travel and cancellation insurance.
