No.17 - L'écurie

Beautifully converted former stable with in-ground pool. Set in 3 acres of grounds, this stunning property is in a peaceful location yet just a few minutes' walk to the amenities of historical Le Dorat. Annexed to the main coach house, which is occupied by the owners, but with it's own private entrance, garden and dining area, L'écurie has been recently refurbished to a high standard whilst maintaining many original features.

Access is via a large, gated car park and through your own private garden overlooking the beautiful 10 x 5m in-ground pool (open May-September). The property is over two floors, the ground floor consisting of a bright, spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with four sets of French doors leading to the garden and private dining area with bbq. On the first floor both bedrooms benefit from their own en-suite shower rooms. Bedroom one has a fixed super king sized bed (180 x 200 cm) whilst bedroom two can be configured either as two single beds or one super-king (180 x 190 cm). All windows and doors are double glazed with most having insect screens for guest comfort in summer. Gas central heating and a log burner in the living area provide warmth during the cooler months.

Guests can stay connected (should they wish!) with free wi-fi and satellite TV. There are also a selection of DVDs, books and games available.

Around the pool there are ample sunbeds and parasols, together with a lovely shaded area housing a corner sofa - perfect for sitting and relaxing with a book and perhaps a glass of something cold and sparkling!

The pretty gardens are home to numerous fruit and nut trees, and shared by the owners resident donkeys, chickens and cats. Please note, pets are not permitted at this property.
