The barn is situated on 1 km from the village of Tremolat. It overlooks the beautiful neighbouring walnut orchard. Do not be be surprised when you occasionally see the farmer keeping the land tidy from the top of his shiny red tractor or harvesting the delicious walnuts that are a speciality of the area.
There is a great outdoor seating area under cover for 2 or 4 alternatively should you wish to invite your friends over there is a table for 8 and 2 umbrellas. On those hot balmy days, dip into the 2.5m x 2.5m pool, and or relax on the loungers on the verandah,

Restaurants, food & wine

The village of Tremolat offers a Michelin Star restaurant at the Vieux Logis. A Bistro in the village square which serves delicious local fare. A great little wine bar - Les Tartines. A pizzeria - which is a wonderful place to take your family. The Cafe Village, which serves coffee, teas, beer, wine and light meals. Les Truffiers is on the hill. This quirky restaurant is a must.
At the Basin Nautique we are lucky to have another pizzeria and burger place for a easy evening out.
We also have a wonderful bakery, should you wish to take a stroll to the village for your morning breakfast.

Further remarks

Experience the magic of the Dordogne Valley. There is so much to see and do.
If the weather is favourable - why not rent a canoe and paddle down the Vézère River or the Dordogne River. Take the time to enjoy the view from the deck at Limeuil. This is where the 2 rivers meet. We often seen the swans gracefully floating down the Dordogne or low flying over the water giving you a spectacular show
