The house
The Mongolian tent gives a unique experience, because the shape is round (diameter 5 metres). In the middle of the yurt you look outside through the round roof dome to look at the sky, the pitch-black night or just clear starry skies. You sleep on an original mongolian 2 persons bed (1.50x2.00 m), if you want to sleep with more persons than 2 in the yurt, we put mattresses on the rugs on the floor.

Hardly anyone knows Correze, but there is so much to see, do and experience. Fantastic old towns like in a fairy tale, lakes, forests, canoeing, fishing, cycling, hiking, farmers' village festivals, you name it. Everything is there, nearby.
When you arrive at Le Domaine Vert, you feel something. You feel a peace come over you. It's as if the earth gives you a reset here. Away from all the hustle and bustle. Away from "having to", because here you don't have to do anything.
Know that we want to keep the terrain as pure as possible, and live according to the laws of nature. If possible, it would be nice if you bring biodegradable soap and shampoo.
Waste water goes to a tank where it is biologically purified. The purified water is then returned to the site. You can only empty your toilet if you use biodegradable products. (You can empty your toilet 10 minutes away at a supermarket). The fruit and vegetables are grown organically (do you want to dig with your feet in the ground? help is always welcome!) and used in the meals that are offered irregularly. We fire with and cook on wood from our own land. We have no humming air conditioners and no pool full of chlorine. By the way, the whole region is pesticide-free !

We regularly cook for our guests; the so-called Table d'hotes.
Have a drink in the courtyard of Le Domaine Vert and then join us on the covered terrace or in the Bodega for a surprising three-course menu from our own estate!
By the way, you are always welcome to have a drink at the Bodega, either on the premises or on one of the terraces. Of course you can also get a drink here and take it back to your holiday home.
Activities
In the vicinity of the domain, you can go walking, cycling, swimming, canoeing, horse riding, fishing, playing tennis and much more.
But don't forget to take a tour around the picturesque villages with their friendly inhabitants, such as Segur le Chateaux.
A day in the city? Think of Limoges, Brive, Tulle or Perigueux.
In the summer, weekly party evenings are organised everywhere in the neighbourhood: Marché des producteurs du Pays; highly recommended! The nearest one is in St Pardoux Corbier, 4 km from here.

A little paradise
Peace and quiet, nature, really dark and quiet nights, knowing what you eat, healthy living, views, running water at the bottom of the hill, historic buildings (1880), one day's drive from the Netherlands, greenery, animals, lots of space to be, nice people around you..... that is what I, Walter, have been looking for for years. Le Domaine Vert has been transformed into a true paradise by its previous owners, Annemarie and Gerard, with a lot of passion and love for 22 years!
