Family house on pretty private grounds of 4000 m2, in the rolling hinterland of Boulogne sur Mer, Europe's largest fishing port. Beautiful area with terraces and woods, marked cycling routes, and of course the sea. Choice of chalk cliffs overlooking England, or wide sandy beaches with surfing, beach sailing and other beach fun.
The house is spacious with a living kitchen with fireplace, a lounge with wood burner, a spacious terrace, partly covered with fixed BBQ and views of the surroundings. In front of the house a spacious gravel terrace with table tennis, petanque, outdoor table football, fire pit and sitting areas under or by the weeping willow. In the house table football and billiards, in the barn a Russian billiard table. Recreation on and around the property, 20 km from the sea. The house has two floors with seven double rooms. On the first floor two showers/toilets, on the second a spacious bathroom. Above the dining room a separate double bedroom with bath. The kitchen is particularly well-equipped, with a fireplace, resulting in cooking turning into the communal meal and after-dinner dining. For those not participating, there is a separate billiard room with table football as well. Watching TV or reading can be done in the lounge, with a wood-burning fireplace for cosiness. Free WIFI is available. A few hours' drive from the Netherlands, so bring bikes.

The coast is particularly beautiful, north of Boulogne rough chalk cliffs and panoramas, but also with accessible seaside resorts such as Wimmereux. South of Boulogne very wide sandy beaches, easily accessible, with seaside resorts like Hardelot-plage and Le Touquet. Don't forget the beautiful surroundings, lovely little rivers running through the countryside and quaint fortified towns.
